All weekend we have been pushing trees and clearing trails. Getting ready for that opening weekend. We got the firewood cut up and split. It was great to just go down and camp out for a week! Just thought I'd share I dont know.

I'd have to say somewhere in the 100-110 Range. I have been hunting since I was 6. Kill probably 3-5 Deer a year maybe.

Guessin mid to high 110's one can probably get into the 120's

Well I didn't read all ever how many pages but you have to understand like some said this is his job it's what he does. So like I read he don't have to come back to any level. You also have to consider the area where you are hunting and if there are a lot of bucks only seeing a few does is disappointing just like in West Texas where I hunt if I only see a few does I would be unhappy.

Can't hardly ever go wrong with a .25-06 or a .270 The 7mm-08 seems to be a nice caliber as well

Got a nice buck in my dads feeder pin this past week down here in Damon Texas

Alright I am what I call okay about it. I was within a inch of the buck I killed this year. We got this pic from our game cam in Brownwood Texas. Now it was from 08 and we didn't kill the buck and we don't have the lease anymore. I was just lookin to see who all had a guess and who tries it or does it in the field and how close ya get!

I have to say I agree with ya txtrophies, 100% but at the same time I do see others points. It is sad that he was lost I feel for the family and his children especially I saw is daughter on the TV and it was pretty sad to hear. I just thank God we are in a Country that people have the freedome to say whatever they want about it good or bad.

Well I am packing up tonight gonna be heading out to the Deer Lease tomorrow eve out in El Dorado Texas. Its gonna be hot but gotta do it Hunting Season will be here before we know it. Can't come soon enough for me!

I have seen it but the caption said it was in West Texas I kinda find that hard to believe but the pic looks Ligit. We just usually don't have cats that big even out west Texas, However it looks like an All Season feeder which is based in San Antonio. So it could have been I don't know how many dealers outside of Texas have All-Season feeders

I don't even think that anyone in Texas has even considered such a law. I hunt on Sundays from time to time. We do have a few hunters in our Hunting Club that don't but that don't happen all the time anyways.

It does suck but It happens sometimes and its all about making the right call when the time comes.

Sounds good. We tried this thing called a plot master a couple years ago and didn't work so well. Last Year we disced and seeded with a corn feeder that goes on our ATV's. Built us a little drag out of some chain link fence and a few pieces of pipe and a some T Iron and it worked out GREAT.. Can I as what your planting?
