  1. Real skulls do look good I have 2 and I won't do it any other way if Its not a shoulder mount. I'll round up some pics and post them on here soon.
  2. I can sit right here and tell you that I have seen it in action. Me my Mad and my Grandpa are the overseers of a hunting club in Brazoria County. We have been feeding protein year round, building food plots and culling the small stuff and killin plenty of Doe. Its something that takes full commitment to of it will not work I can tell you that right now. I have seen it work and let me tell you if we can kill 110-120 inch deer regularly in Damon Texas then imagin what you can get with better genetics than South East Texas. Heck move down the road here in Texas about 50 Miles I know some guys killin 150in Cull deer so if anyone doubtes it or thinks its not worth it and is doing it be patiant it is'nt a fast thing but it 3-5 Years you will see a noticable difference. Would love to hear from yall in other states and even in Texas just to see what you think about it and if you have seen it work.
  3. We have made quit a few for both protein and corn. Easiest is to take a 55 gallon drum cut a hole in the bottom and build ya some kind of legs. Now we do have a good ol Gas Axe and a welder. for corn put you a slinger on the bottom for protein take toilet flange some PVC a T and just put it together. But there are better ones and more expensive ways to build them
  4. Heard of it seen pics like this one on groundhogs or gophers or whatever ya wanna call em, never seen one in person
  5. These Guys were killed way down here in Brazoria County Texas South of Houston a little. Top is a 10pt that scored 120 and 1/8 the bottom an 8pt that scored 115 and 6/8. Im proud of them mostly cause we grew em ourselves.Sorry I guess I dont really know how to post pics on here my photobucket wasn't working for whatever reason. If you click them they become larger
  6. Oh they ain't cheep at all buddy, My dad bought a new one last year a Remington Sendero SF2. It wasn't cheep but it was worth it he said and I have shot it it is SWEET
  7. Its great to see, I wold even like to see him win the Championship, really I would
  8. Thats a shame, ya know Im just south of Houston and in this little town I hardly ever lock my truck even sometimes I leave the keys in it. I just recently started taking the keys out. but I belive I'll lock it from now on. Thats a shame someone would do sucha thing anyways
  9. Because I am a fan of the Sport and the more people the better who are intersted in it I think it would be a semi possitive but at the same time I think IRL would go down hill. I think that It would be all for publicity and nothing more. But she can bring sponsors and she can sell stuff and bring in more TV expsouer and I guess thats what its all about if your runnin a buisness huh
  10. Thanks bud, Yeah I love it for that reason I can sit there and just drive nails with it.
  11. Well I am not an expert by far, however the way I was taught was your free had to not be on the gun at all, I lay it on the bench under my gun. The reason for this Is to have as little of yourself because of your heartbeat or any flinching could somewhat throw off your aim however much. I find however if you are in a comfortable position that you will shoot far better than if you are not comfortable. I like to make my blind as comfortable to shoot out of for that reason ie I have built rest and different things to help me out. So that probably don't help you much but any advice i would give is just make sure you are comfortable with your style no matter what someone else says.
  12. The good ol 264 Winchester Magnum, I got one I love it wouldn't trade it for the world. I know its not the most popular but neither is my 220 Swift or my 280 Rem. So I guess I like to be different. My question is first who has one and what do yall think of it and 2nd What ammo do you use since it limited to either Remington or the ol Winchester's. I use the Remington Mostly but last year I got some custom made rounds from Nosler and they worked very well. I shoot less than a half inch easy at 100 yards and At about 1 3/4 inch Hi Im good for at least 300 yards. Im new to the whole Forum blog thing but so far i enjoy it it's fun. I'll talk to yall later!
  13. I also shot a friend of mines Browning bow and I liked it but it seemed a little small but it was pretty smooth.
  14. You know a friend of mine said to look into the Mission line. Thanks for the info
  15. Ya never know that is the rumor that she is close to signin with Gannasi
  16. I been gun hunting my whole life I mean since I was like 5. I love hunting with a gun, however I want to get into the Bowhunting side of it try somethin new don't ya know. I just would like to know what anyone has to say about maybe whats the best type of Bow to start out and if it is as Awesome hunting as I think it is gonna be.
  17. So Who wants to see young Martin go to MWR next season. I Think it would be great for both parties. I just hope Bass Pro Shops go with him. Anyone agree, disagree?
  18. Well I may be a rookie but I love to Hunt and just be in the outdoors, where I am at right now in my personal life I would do whatever it takes just to say I was a part of Team Realtree. I will roll up camera cabels, Wash Bill's Truck whatever. I have no problem working behind the camera for however long it takes. I guess you'd say I just want to get my foot in the door somehow and do what it takes to get my way either in Front of the camera or whatever. It's not about the money I'd do it for free if I could ya know but a man does have to make some kind of a living ya know. Fortunantly I am in a place right now where I am single and could do something like be on the road and all that could come with it.
