I was wondering what you guys would suggest me getting, here are the details. I am looking for a bow that is pretty fast, accurate. Also I am 5 ft 8 and weigh 130, i can pull 70 for sure, but more comfortable with 50-69 lbs. It can't be over $400, the cheaper the bettertoo. I will be using it for whitetails and probably a turk or two, but mainly deer here in nw missouri. Thanks Blake.

Is there any guy that is from tennesse named Fred that is on the realtree team??

cant use corn in missouri i dont think, but i will look into the salt and minerals.

oh and i am not alowed to go past the field edge, someone else owns the property. so i am stuck at the field for now.

Thats the problem, its just a 20 ft ditch, and they bed all up that ditch i think, so if i move up there, im going to get busted. Thanks for your guys comments!

lol, thanks! i will just keep my stand in the same location, not used to hunting fields alot to this point, still learning how to hunt them.

Ive got a nice sized bean field across the road from my house, a week or so ago i set my tree stand back in a pocket in the bean field, it is the first thing to get shade in the morning and evening as well, all last year i would see two or three does feeding in this pocket to, but last night i set in the tree stand hoping to see some deer and see what i will be hunting whenever bow season comes along, i saw a doe about 100-125 yards away from my stand feeding, so i snuck in there and at about 7 30 there was a doe and a fawn feeding 200-250 yards away, my question is, do you guys think they will ever funnel into there? Is there any way i could get them to come to me on the 15th of september? Im sorry this is kind of broad, but there is no way i can move my stand up the ditch that i saw the deer in without them busting me. Thanks for your help, Blake.

One farm that i hunt has about a 3:2 or 4:2 doe buck ratio, so if i get the chance i will probably take a doe out, but i dont think it really needs it.

Theres a bleach colored 8 point that would probably score 140-150, that i saw when i was walking to my stand one morning and when i was running my trapline, theres also a NICE 9 or 10 that i had a chance to shoot last year, but wasnt for sure on it so passed on it, the people who live at the apartments saw a 150-160 class wide ten point that i have never saw before, but am hopeing i do sometime this season, i also had a chance at a nice wide 10, his tines werent the tallest in the world, but still will shoot him. Any of them i will take.

Oh and i am getting a reloader and everything that i will need for helping my grandpa and grandma all summer, also want a rifle that i could reload fairly cheap to.

Well i am going to be feeding my uncles calves for a week and he said for my labor he would buy me a new rifle. I want to get a bolt action gun, but I want to use it for whitetails, coyotes, fox, bobcats, stuff like that, i also dont want the ammo to be to high either, because i shoot alot. What would you guys recommend? Thanks.

Thanks for all of your comments guys!

I have been wondering if urinating off or around your deer stand will affect the movement or lure the deer away from your stand, what are your guys opinions?
-
Thanks guys, I will get my best friend and have him come with me and we will set up my trail cam and put some mineral out. I have got an idea where they are staying, but not quite for sure, I will just go set up my trail camera there and see what comes up to it! Thanks again.

Oh ya, I can hunt all of that in that topo map. Been trying to pinpoint the food sources for some time, there isnt any corn fields for atleast 9 miles, there are a bunch of acorns, but that is where i have been hunting and seeing nothing.
-
I have saw 5 different bucks there and then the people that live at the apartments saw a wide 10 last year, jump deer up every time i walk in there, they always come back though.

Thanks huntcamp I will try that, Texan I think you might be right, my stand is made out of aluminum and usually my boots will squeek on it some, i will probably bolt carpet down on the bottom so it wont squeek. I could of been moving to much to, i move at every noise that i hear, I will work on that, i know i am not busting them while going into my stand, think they are hearing me in my stand and probably seeing me, but i will fix that! I might also try and get to the stand two hours before daylight and see if that helps any to. wtnhunt: What bounderies are you talking about?

Okay thanks 12 point, the property that i am going to bow hunt this year, is really just a flat piece of timber, with a crick running around the edges, on the west side of the timber there is a ditch that connects to the triangular piece, this ditch it practicly grass, with trees covering it, there are few trails in there, it then connects to a little ever green patch and then it connects with some more ditchs. I explained it the best I could, ill get some pictures and put on here of the property.
