  3. Hey guys. We have used a block open layer and with the amount we shoot it gets wrecked pretty easy. We have also used a block 4x4 it wrecked in less then a year. I have heard good things about the rinehart 18-1. Have any of you ever used the rinehart 18-1, if so how is it? If not what would you reccommend as a good broadhead target? Thanks
  4. Congrats!! now that is a buck to be proud of
  5. WOW!! Now that is a huge buck. I really hope you can get that buck. That is rare to come across bucks like that. Now after seein him it will be hard to take a 180. If you get him I would love to hear about it. Good luck!!
  6. Thanks. But i am only using 100 grain and the striker magnums some in 125 so I couldn't use them.
  7. Wow Bret!! That was definetly a close one. Wouldn't of that been somethin to shoot. We went out tonight, seen a shooter but couldn't close the distance. Good luck on that buck. I hope to see some pics of you with him soon.
  8. If I switched to 100 grain my arrow plus broadhead would weigh 271.5.

Congrats!! looks like a nice doe
  12. Well my bow is rated at 280fps so I would say I am shooting about 240fps. My arrows are 7.3 grains per inch and my arrows are 23.5 inches long, so that is 171.5+85 grain broadheads is 256.5. So about 240fps and 256.5 grain arrows.
  13. Thanks for the help. They would probably work fine but I want to be sure. I was considering muzzy. My brother is a big muzzy fan. Thanks
  14. Hi. Me, my Dad, and my brother are planning on going black bear hunting in northern Saskatchewan this spring. I am using the 85 grain G5 montecs and shooting 45 pounds. I was just wondering if they would take down a black bear good enough and have enough penetration. If not, what would any of you recommend?
  15. We have both but we ussually carry the backpack around. We have are binos, spotting scope, rattlers, deer calls ect.
  16. Congrats!! that is a great looking bear
  17. I use the ddw deoderant and so far it seems to do the job.
  18. Martin Leopard Beman ICS Junior Hunters 85 grain g5 montecs
  19. Don't know the weight(used to Canadian deer). I'm not that good at scorin deer but I'd say 115 maby P&Y.
