Just in case you didn't know, there is a survey on Field & Stream's website. It's on deer hunting and it will be posted in the Nov. Magazine. All of the registered users of the website that take it will be put in a hat and drawn for a set of Nikon Monarch binoculars.

I would try that. Sounds like it would work. Deer like to eat our potatoes in the garden. Wish i could. But,,,,, I can't. Sigh.

Hey everybody, ive been kinda stuck at buying a new broadhead. I have always shot the G5 Montec and it has always worked for me. My dad has used the old Tekan and that worked for him. Im thinking about buying the new T3 by G5 and am wondering who has used it and how well it works. Thanks

A family friend who hunts in ohio said he saw a bunch of bucks, a couple good ones but couldnt get a shot off. Not that many does though. mostly crusing bucks.

Just about everyone here in west MI have no school today and i plan on spending the day playing a lil fred bear on my guitar, sharpen my ice auger blades, and do a lil tree rat hunting. The deer have all disapeared around me. only a doe and fawn are left. They went to their winter grounds. When do you think we are goin to get good ice this year? I think by Jan 1st?

Cabela's and Basspro have good selections on processing. But you can also get some from dunhams and dicks sporting goods. I am going to purchase an electric grinder off ebay after christmas. There are alot of good ones on there at 100 and under.

that is totally wrong for a teacher to do that. And to a pre-schooler? I have a lot of teachers who hunt and my friends and I have conversations to them about hunting but they don't say anything to people who don't hunt. Thats just wrong to say stuff like that to kids. It's anypersons opinion but it should be kept in their own mind.

Allright, this last weekend was the youth hunt here in Michigan. My dad had to bring me to his stand because i had no idea where it was. (haha) So, he brings along a climber to put in a tree by me. No problem there. But, it takes him like 15 minutes to get it right, then he plays around with his water bottle. The entire hunt i can here him plain as day 10 yards away. I know he wasn't trying to make me mad. If he is really that loud in the stand how has he shot like 5 140 class deer and one 180 class typical? Then when some does come walking by they immediatly notice him by sound. haha. luckly they didn't bust. Do loud hunters have luck on their side or do they just know when to be quiet?
