  1. I pay about $40 a month with US Cellular, give or take, for unlimited texts, pics, weekends, holidays, evenings, all incoming calls, on a nationwide plan. Granted I did sign on while a promotion was running but I'd still have all of that just without the nationwide coverage were there no promotion. I don't need any frills like pointless apps and I don't have any. In all honesty, I am on a family plan which helps keep the costs down Nathan
  2. I'm using a Konus scope that works FOR NOW, next year I want to get a nicer Konus scope. Haven't heard anything bad about them and mine is nice, just no frills, so I'll stick with them. As for the Bushnell, I don't think you'll go wrong with it. I looked at one that was way out of my price range but had a reticule set up for muzzleloaders. Could be the one you mentioned but it was really sweet. Nathan

    Tornados

Must have been the same front that came through here half an hour ago. No rain, but some of the darkest and fastest moving clouds I've seen in a long time. Whole front moved through in 5 minutes, and then sun again. Nathan
  4. My dad has gotten quite a few good pairs of binos from Wal-Mart. Every now and then they will have a great deal on optics. I'm just never at the right place at the right time Nathan
  5. With a little persuasion on my part (a little?) my wife bought her first gun last weekend. I'm very very very proud of her After all, when we first met she had never even touched a gun. I brought her along shooting and after awhile she finally asked if she could shoot. She practically took my .22 away from me :jaw: After that she just HAD to shoot a 12ga. I finally convinced her to spend the money on herself and buy her a gun of her own. Remington 870 Express Jr. She was a little embarrassed about buying a Jr. model gun but I was so proud of her she quickly forgot about it. She hopes to shoot a bigger buck than me this year. To tell the truth, I wouldn't even care :cowboy: Nathan
  6. It's about time somebody did this. If you wanna be in this country, learn the dang language. It's sure not hard (I can speak it after all...) Why should I have to adapt because you came over into my country and couldn't speak my language??? http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2010/07/27/dnt.english.only.city.kare?hpt=C2 Nathan

    WTH???????

Nope I didn't see it, but I don't doubt it was there. My best advice is to stop looking at that stuff while the Realtree tab is still open :nono: Nathan
  9. DO IT!! :jaw: Congrats on whichever bike you choose man. I know a guy you drives one of those in to work when the days are nice. They're FAST Nathan
  10. If your price range is up to $400 then definitely go with the Double Bull Dark Horse. I've never owned one but I'm going to some day Right now I hunt out of a Primos Groundmax Eclipse. It's roomy, VERY easy to set up and take down. I just wish the windows and entrance were bigger. You gotta be pretty skinny to slip through the little door. I just tip the blind up whenever I go in or out. 11. Wish I was doing all you described above. It's been a long time since I had a whole day to just wander around the timber :helpsmilie: Nathan

    LG Ally

I can send pictures to Facebook from my phone but not anywhere else. These new phones are crazy though. They can do almost everything besides iron your shirt Nathan
  13. Haha John you've got a LONG week ahead of you :serenade: Nathan
  14. Of course it is. Now that we've established that, what are you waiting for? Nathan
  15. I shoot the Kleanbores and they've been pretty good to me so far. I get good clean ignition every time and I only have to clean up the crud ring when I take the gun in at the end of the night for a complete cleaning. Nathan
  16. There are a few towns around here that are under water I guess. So far Maquoketa is still standing and the river crested this afternoon. The town might make it after all I also forgot to mention I work in Maquoketa, so I hope the town can float Nathan
  17. It's flooding REAL bad 20 miles north of me in Maquoketa. I guess a dam broke up-stream on the Maquoketa River and with all the heavy rainfall...well, it sure ain't pretty folks. Heard from my dad that some homes were under water, and if the town levee breaks half the town will be too. I'm never the pessimist but if the water gets any higher or stays high much longer the levee will break. I'm guessing the river is up a good 20-feet, I know the river really well and it's never been this fast or high. http://qctimes.com/news/local/article_f31967f6-9870-11df-bd31-001cc4c002e0.html In the picture that was taken during the day the water was still below the top of the dam. Apparently it's over the dam now, if the dam is still standing. A few reports say its down. The water has risen considerably since this video I found on youtube was taken. Please keep this town in your thoughts. I used to live there and there are a lot of good people that call this place home. Nathan
  18. It IS hilarious, I'll give it that Nathan
  19. I agree with FrontierGander. I won't shoot over 100 yards with my slug gun, even though the numbers say I can safely shoot much farther. I have yet to find my comfort range with my Optima however, I'm still shooting at the range and finding my perfect load. I don't expect I'll ever want to shoot past 150 yards though. Nathan
  20. I put Hornady SST's through my Mossberg 500 slug gun. Puts a big hole in a deer. Nathan

    My Last Uncle

Sorry to hear this :bummed: Losing family ain't no fun, that's for sure. Nathan
  22. Saw it in theaters when it first came out. I gave it two thumbs up, I thought it was an awesome movie with an awesome plot. My wife liked it too though She drop a few "wows!" here and there... Nathan
  23. Dang that's some scary stuff! I have no warm feelings for any kind of storm Glad it missed ya. Nathan
