That saddens me. Our country is in a dark time and headed to an even darker place. As great of a land as it is to live in, and as much as I love being a defender of freedom, it upsets me to see our country in so much sin. We have embraced a culture where we aim to please other people instead of doing what is right. 2 Timothy 4:3 says: "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." I think this is a prime example of that verse.
