  1. I shoot the Rage 2 blades. I shot Crimsons last year until I hit one and I felt that the shot wasn't bad and I never did find it. Me and a buddy both switched to Rages and both had immediate sucess. He killed 2 deer with them and I killed 1. Mine ran the farthest and it ran about 45 yards. The Rages definetly open them up. It was amazing how big of hole they left in the side.
  2. Congrats on a nice deer.. Nice and thick
  3. very nice buck.. you couldn't pass that up
  4. I am ready for ice fishing. In Indiana where I live most of the time we get about 2 weeks or so. Last year we slayed them. Hopefully this year we will get to go its never a sure thing where I live thats for sure
  5. I switched to rages this year and I haven't had a problem with them what so ever. I killed a doe and i hit her a little far back and she made it 75 yards at most. She bled really well. The blades will open if you catch them against something but on my bow hanger i make sure they are locked and haven't had one problem
  6. You said you have killed 9 this year??
  7. Congrats on a nice buck. Your right you never know whats going to happen during the rut
  8. I have had that plenty of times. I have missed more deer with a bow than I can count. At the same time I always say I am done then the next weekend I am back at it. Its no better a feeling than killing a deer with a bow
  9. Well think positive.. the more bucks you see the better chance at seeing a shooter buck. I haven't seen one buck all year and I didn't see one last year until real late season and he was running away. You will see a big one eventually
  10. Pretty good buck.. he better be going on the wall.. you didn't happen to score him did you??
  11. Thats pretty cool. I actually shot a peg leg deer last year. It was opening day of gun season and I thought it had been shot off that day and I didn' t want it to suffer. Well looking back at my trail cams he actually was on there . O and he was completly healed over leg was normal besides it not being there ha
  12. Everybody misses.. It happens missed about a 170 inch buck named "whitey" few years back. Still just makes me mad just thinking about but couldn't quit even though i said i was probably hundred times haha
  13. Thats the way my feelings are too. If he was going to waste the deer I wouldn't have bothered to call him and just cut it up myself. Not that I don't check in most of my deer but I think it could have been just a warning while getting to keep the doe at the same time
