  1. I have the iPhone but don't think I'll ever be using it for that! How can you beat the simplicity and accuracy of the sights out now a days?! Seems like a lot of work for what it is... BTW.. I have the flashlight APP and it does come in handy!
  2. HSS are great, got myself one last year and love it
  3. I've been using the moultries for 100 or 120 and have had good luck, not gonna find much cheaper than that. I saw last night on cabelas a primos one on sale for 100 but I've never used primos... Although I like everything else they make!
  4. Is anyone out there into cutting, fletching and setting up your own arrows? If so, how do you like it, is there a lot to know and is it any cheaper in the long run or is it more expensive with the tooling and set up required? Have been doing a lot of research and it seems like something I'd like to get into or set up in my basement...
  5. I should be at the one in foxborough, it's only 45 mins from Boston tops...

    Deer Fever

I've had the fever over a month now, just recently started doing something about though, shooting, setting stands and cameras etc.
  7. Shot about 4 times this past week and set a stand and new camera, I'd say the itch has set in for me...
  8. Mid October here, I'll be shooting my 4 year old DXT. Love the bow, local shop says the DXT's never took off like the Z7's... Don't know why because I've had nothing but good things with the DXT.
  9. Shot about 35 arrows today, felt good and shot good! Love the way the Mathews comes out every time I take it out and have to make little or no adjustments, I guess that's what happens when you take care of your equipment...
  10. I'm on vk for the week, hoping to get some shooting in and stands set up
  11. Give it another 4 weeks or so and it'll start to pick up, as SW said it's a big vacation time and people are on the go. I'm on vacation now, but I'll be shooting the bow a few days this week and setting a couple stands!
  12. I don't have the heli-m but I do have the Mathews DXT which I love, quietest, accurate, fastest bow I've ever shot. My brother just shot the heli-m this weekend and really liked it... Good luck, practice lots and shoot well!
  13. Haven't seen anything about it, what or where are the "zones"? Sounds pretty cool though.
  14. Maine and Mass for me!
  15. Prayers from all of us outdoorsman!
  16. Well worth investing in a good one too!
  17. Actually looked at this one yesterday on their site and thought it looked like a nice little pack. Thanks for the feedback.
  18. Im gonna look for a new backpack this year and was wondering if anyone had suggestions? I'm looking for something that sticks close to the body but had plenty of storage... You can spend anywhere from $50 to $250 on a pack, I'm not looking for the $250 type but want something that's gonna last me and has ample storage
  19. Thanks for the link Jesse, I went on and ordered myself one too. Probably wouldn't have if it wasn't $10 off!
  20. Middle October here too, if open in late July when does it close?
  21. Rhino, sounds like a ton of work but in the end I'm sure it will be well worth it! Great set ups and plenty of land!
  22. Don't tell me I'm the only one thinking about deer and bow season?!?!?!

    new bow

Nice, welcome to the forums and all I can tell you is practice, practice! Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
  24. I figured I would get everyone off of the muck boot topic and start this one! I'm lookin to get a couple new inexpensive hang ons this year, I have a couple of field and streams with ladder sticks wondering if anyone else has preferences for fairly inexpensive? I hear the gorillas are pretty good and have pretty good reviews...
