What's everyones favorite hunting magazines? Specifically bowhunting and whitetails?

thanks, my brother has the m&p 9 as well and I've shot it, just looking for others opinions...

I've used field and stream 1000 gram and redheads 1000 gram, I always wear redhead insulated socks and I'm good to about 35 deg., my feet get cold easy too so I think that's a pretty good temp, it basically gets me through bow season... Have had no issues with either brand and would recommend both, I too love the boots, great not to have to worry about where you're next step is!

Anyone got the S&W M&P 40? Any recommendations?

Same here, what I liked best about it was what the outdoors are all about and the comrodary.

So I know it's been posted a million times prior, but what's everyone's opinion on mechanical vs. fixed? Tried out the G5 T3's last year and shouldered a deer and never found it... The arrow just didnt get the penetration it should have and that ive seen before, I know it's all about shot placement but everyone knows you can't always be perfect, whether you misjudge distance, wind etc... Do fixed blades give you the most forgiveness if shot placement is just a bit off?

So what happened with the BC guys? 1st Duff and now Chipper?! Something must have gone on behind the scenes..?

Hey guys, I took tomorrow off of work a while back to get out during one of the best times of the year and I'm looking forward to getting out in the woods. We've got a storm coming up the east coast and it's going to bring some 15-20 mph winds with it, do you think with the rut in pretty good swing the deer will be up and moving or do you think it'll be quiet because of the wind? Other than the wind it's supposed to be a decent day, high 40's to 50 degrees and a little bit of overcast in the morning.

Unfortunately for some the snow will be too much and too heavy and will probably keep the deer from moving much. It'll probably be good hunting on the food sources though come early this week.

Had the same thing happen here, backed out one night only to come back to something similar. Its a tough decision but usually the right one to back out.

Got my new HSS coming in tomorrow.

I would say that's a good assessment of the 3rd buck, and if so boy does he have some potential for next year and possibly the year after. Good Luck.
