wounded hog That's what I'm thinkin. I think I may have pissed it off also with the 243. Hopefully he will stay out for awhile now!

Went out tonight to see if a hog was under one of my feeders an sure enough there was. I had a spotlight in one hand and a 243 in the other hand. The first shot I hit the hog and it limped off. Pretty sure it was a back hip shot maybe. The second shot I'm not sure if I hit it or not. I really don't care if I recover the hog, I just want them gone. This hog was close to 300 pounds. Do you think it will survive or will it lay down somewhere and die.

sunflowers In food plot Yes sunflowers are great if planted early enough. We've planted sunflowers 2 years in a row now and when the heads mature all the way the deer will eat every single head in an acre food plot in about 2 days.
