I've been using a handheld trigger release for the past year and got the handle of it down pretty good. im now starting to think about back tension releases. Anybody using one of these? What's the best brand? How hard are they to use and master?

Mathews VS Hoyt I heard this the other day at an archrry shop. "Hoyt is like a Ferrari. Mathews is like a Cadillac" I shoot Mathews and love the draw cycle. It's super smooth but not quite as fast as the hoyts.

Opinion on new arrows? You cannot go wrong with carbon express mayhem 350. By far best arrow on the market. Mine have been shot through fences plywood etc. and no breakage. Shooting 65 pounds 28 draw. they may be expensive but give them a shot!

What to plant? Clover is a year round plant. If you wanna replant stuff you could try corn/soybeans/clover/chicory any of that in the spring and in the fall go back and plant any if this brassicas/rye/wheat/oats/winter peas

Bow sight batteries? Go to Walmart and they will have it

strangest thing ever Yes sir we hunt right behind our house and we clean our deer right behind our house. So basically within 30 minutes of killing our deer we already have them hung up and skinned. So no reason to gut them really. Anyways I guess crazy things like that can happen whenever!

This past week I was deer huntin with my dad with a gun and I shot a doe at 130 yards. It was a complete pass through through both shoulders and she was standing broadside. She dropped like a sack of potatoes and she wasn't kicking around or nothing. When we walked up on her there was absolutely no blood, just two holes through her shoulders. After we got all of her skin off and the backstraps off we noticed that her heart was still beating. We finally stuck a knife through it. Can this be possible that she was still alive after all that and not making any noise at all? How? Sorry if this seems gruesome and unethical but it was a freak incedent.
