I'm a country fan but lately more of a colt ford and the LACS type though.

From what I am seeing that is very true. I am only comfortable to about 25-30 with the bow so will not be taking any shots further than that. If I can't call em closer or entice more then they will walk. This is my first year bow hunting. Also I did buy a rangefinder for this reason. Just stating I'm pretty close out to 100yds.

Question for the youths. What draw weight did you guys start at? What age did you start? Wanting to get my boys into bows and they are 8 & 7. I bought a kids compound to start but it has rope for string and it horrible.

I did 20 Secs the other day but no hair on the otherside.

Worst part is she wants to hunt as well but doesn't think all the research and planning is needed.
