  1. How old is this 7-pointer ?? I would have to agree. That buck is 3 1/2 years old.
  2. A first timer bow I'm not gonna lie to ya bud bow hunting tends to get expensive. I know myself I have probably about $1,500 in my bow and setup. But if you are looking for something cheap to start off with try Craigslist and if you have trading post in you're area try that and look for a " bear whitetail 2" bow. Usually pretty cheap (50-100) and are good to start with. Hope this helps and good luck!
  3. 2 or 3 blade rage I have to agree with jase on the wack em and stackem as I kill about 25-30 deer per season from start of now season to end of general fire arms. But my kills are primarily for management. As the Land I own at my house is very populated and many of the clubs I hunt with are very large farms where mass amounts of Doe taking are done under DMAP and DCAP. I also donate quite a bit to hunters for the Hungary. But I think that much killing does have to have a purpose and not just be done for glory. Just my opinion. As for broad heads lol muzzy max3 100 gr. all the way!
  4. does anyone know about bowtech bows I've shot Bowtech for years, and would highly recommend them to anyone. My favorites are the allegiance ( which I still shoot) the destroyer is great and the new 2012 assassin as a smooth, fast, and quiet bow. I'll be buying an assassin soon. If you want Unreal speed, very lightweight, smooth, and extremely quiet you'll have it with a Bowtech.
  5. what kind of bow do you use? 2008 Bowtech allegiance, 29 1/2 draw 70lbs, 308 fps with full hunting set up. Never had it let me down.
  6. arrows I've noticed the arrows at Walmart all though carrying the same top brand names ( carbon express) are majorly mass produced and do tend to get many imperfections in the spine. You'll notice they'll splinter and crack sooner. Atleast that's what I've had issues with.
