It is quite clear to me that Clean Scanning is illegal. If it puts a vehicle back on the street after several hundred dollars have been spent on a '93 Caprice I say do it. Speed sensor could be on a wheel. If its bad it will tell comp wrong speed and hence wrong fuel which could signal injector

My first deer, actually two, was an Albino. I had a group coming from behind at about 70 yds, not running, but moving. I shot the four point in the front, as the rest were spikes. It turned out to be a three point albino running next to a spike. One shot, two killed. It was taken from me by an EPO the next day. No fine Very few questions, just gone. I still wonder who has it mounted in their trophy room.

Sorry, I completely misread your post. For some reason I was thinking camera. That being said, my rangefinder seemed to eat batteries quicker at altitude than here at sea level. I've always used Duracells.
