Pass through? I've pulled out mushroomed bullets from a 30-06 in the shoulder fat of a hog...I would say its easier to pass through a deer hands down.

Scent Lok vs. Under Armour If your so worried about your scent just play the wind, I've hardly used any scent cover excluding spraying my self down before I walk into my hunting area and have had deer at arms distance before, it's all just luck in the long run. People back in the day didn't have anything except burning foliage and walking through the smoke and they did just fine.

Found him again I would guess 4.5, like said above he doesn't have any sway in his back. Also he doesn't have a pot belly. I can't see his snout, you said you had different pictures from another camera? If so just look for a bump on it. Either way, it's a nice buck.

Help me name this buck! If he was a 10 pointer last season I would let him live and see if it gets fixed before next season, but if he was injured it could be permanent. Either way, it's meat in the fridge!

Too windy...Too warm Biggest buck I have killed to date was on October 15, 2011 during the "October lull" (keep in mind it is a PA buck). Temps in the upper 50's, low 60's. Winds 20-40 mph with insane gusts. (I was praying while I was in the stand a few times lol). Dad thought I was a little crazy to head out but you can't kill them on the couch! That a nice buck, I'm gonna be hunting on the PA Maryland border next month for the first time, I've only hunted in Texas. It's gonna be different but fun.

Help me name this buck! I can't tell if his tines are broken or if its one natural spike, if it is natural call him bad genes and shoot him before he reproduces or kills another buck worth letting live.

Hunting Tip Needed Have you thought about trying a management program? I've never hinted up north, I will actually be doing it for the first time in Hartford county Maryland during my thanksgiving break. I've hunted Texas all my life, and on the las place we had, we were shooting deer in the 140's low 150's range. Well we started to feed protein year around and worked with our surrounding neighbors to let everything walk that wasn't 5 and a half or older, scored in at least the 150's or wasn't a management buck (anything over four that was disfigured or not goin to meet scoring potential). I shot a 146 10pt the year we started, two years later my brother shot a 168 net 16 point. I know every place is different, but if everyone is willing to cooperate then it works. Good luck!

I am from Texas but am going hunting in Hartford county Maryland during thanksgiving. I want bow hunt but don't know the laws on if I can or not, and was also hoping for some pointers on tactics?
