preacherman
I have a question I would like to ask. I have a bow I am trying to sell on Archery Talk and I have a guy that is wanting to buy it from Norway. I told him that I would not ship to Norway; he then proceeded to tell me that I could ship it to a friend of his in Oklahoma. I told him that I was really nervous about doing this; but he actually went ahead and sent the money to my paypal account. I called paypal and asked them about the transaction and they said that the deposit looked legit. They told me that I could cancel the transaction and refund the guys money. My question is, "Would you cancel it or go ahead and deposit the money and send the bow?" I just don't want to be snookered! Thanks Scott
VermontHunter
I'd flat out tell the guy the bow won't ship until the cash is in your hand .... I did this same thing when I sold my alpine over there ...
redkneck
You got the money Scott, send it! I've sold stuff as far away as Thailand/Indonesia on ebay. No problems
Jeramie
As long as you have contact paypal through their website or a number you found on their website I wouldnt worry about it! You have the money. Just take a LOT of pictures. If youre still worried about it find out what part of Oklahoma and you may be able to ship it to one of us Okies. Texan_Til_I_Die
Pictures before you ship and PLENTY of insurance. Sometimes these types of transactions seem to arrive damaged for some reason...
okiedog
I find it kind of strange that he sent the money without you agreeing to sell him the item first.

okiedog
they said that the deposit looked legit. Did he send the total price that you wanted for the bow or a partial payment?
Ravin R10 man
Make sure the $$ is in your account or bank, or in hand first..THEN..go ahead and ship.. I would transfer the $ from paypal to my bank..it's easy...once that is done your good to go
jcot2773
Sounds like a scam to me. Send it here first then he will ship it to me. Sounds funny. I wouldn't do it.
preacherman
no, he shipped the entire price that I wanted . I think he is a stand up guy, has good feedback on ebay, just always been nervous about shipping somewhere other than the US and Canada
Shaun_300
Sounds iffy to me too Scott. But I guess if you have the money and transfered into your bank account you don't have much to lose. Like stated above take lots of dated pictures to be able to prove the bow is in the condition you sold it in before it leaves.
GWSmith
Send it to where they want...after you have the money in your hands. If you including shipping costs in your asking price your covered. If not then ship it to a U.S. address only(Oklahoma) to reduce your costs. Selling anything I always waited until the checked cleared or I verified the funds were in my account....then it was off to the post office.
