sskybnd Posted May 8, 2011 Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 was at the lease today finishing up the box blind we just put up, i walked around looking for another place to put up another stand, was thinking trypod or a lock on, but realy want to put up another box blind, well as i was coming home i ran past a truss plant, and out side were 3 stacks of 2-6's they were 10ft,16ft, and 20ft all had 50 boards per bundle, so what the heck i thought ,stoped in and asked them what they wanted for the 20 ft's, i was only looking for around 10. but they wouldnt sell them board by board and said if i wanted them i would have to buy the whole bundle. how much i asked and they said $3.00 a piece, not bad i got 50 20ft 2-6's for $162.50. now i can build a few more box blinds this year.
