somehow my post of yesterday didn't get posted. anyway, we're back from alaska for the holidays and leave again july 12 until the middle of september. i got 116 sheets of rock hung, taped & textured and ready to paint when i get back. i'm taking the doors and kitchen cabinets up, as well as 600 sq. ft of floor tile so it will be a busy time up there. the fishing has been poor, but was picking up when i left. the crabbing was slow, but we did get plenty of meals out of the pots. just nothing in the freezer yet. the computer system up there is worse than ever. by time i get online with the forums (about 30 minutes to load), i get kicked off. so, i just don't do it anymore. too frustrating. dial up at it's worst.

looks like a slow summer around here. i sure hope things pick up by fall, which is the usual.

Good to hear from you Steve! Congrats on the progress with your new place. Sounds like you're making a lot of headway on it. You have a lot on your plate to do when you get back. Hope your free time fishing, etc. picks up when you return. Bummer about your internet access. At least when you get the new place finished satellite service will be an option to consider.

Good to see you back Steve. Hope you and Rilda are doing ok. Sounds like things are coming along nicely with the house, hope to see some pics soon. That is a lot of sheet rock, especially if you are hanging it by yourself. We have a bedroom I am finishing in the basement I need to finish with the mud in the corners and joints and it will be ready for paint.

Is the bear still hanging around?
