Jeramie
There is a guy on a communications tower in Tulsa. He has been perched up there since Thursday morning. He is blistered, rode out serious rainfall, hot temps, etc. As of this morning he is still there in a stand off. Officials are offering him water, food, and medical attention to come down. There is no way to bag under him in case he falls because of transformers, equipment screens, etc. Its a life and death situation that has had this buy perched on a piece of angle for several days. On an interview this morning one guy there said, "There are a thousands ways this could end. 999 of them are bad...." I personally couldn’t stand in a parking lot 5+ days without collapsing... Jeramie
Reports are mential illness. He has a string of issues. His mother has cancer, he just got out of jail in April, he has a child he wants to connect with but cant find, etc. As of right now the only demand he has made is water. wtnhunt
Hope things turn out ok for this guy. How is my stamina? Not nearly what it used to be, things seem to have went downhill fast after 35. lol.
ckrich
This guy has been climbing up and down and doing pull-ups all morning. I don't see how he has any strength left. The only fluid he has had in almost 6 days has been rainwater. I hope to see him come down safely, but the chances are slim. I heard on the radio a few minutes ago that they are estimating the temperature of the tower to reach near 130 degrees today.
ckrich
So the live video feed is gone... last I checked they had a guy in a crane bucket just feet away talking to him. No word if he's down yet. *Edit* The feed is back and he's still up high.
Jeramie
The guy in the bucket is now holding his hand, splashing him with water, and trying to pull him in the bucket.
redkneck
Wife says my stamina is nonexistent..... But seriously, there are some very ill people out there unfortunately, but fortunately this particular one did not walk into my children's classroom with a couple glocks under his belt to try to set his world back in order. The glass is half full. Hope they do coax him down.
