dbHunterNY
i haven't tried it but they say to blow up a paper bag and hang it in the tree. wasps are territorial and will stay away from another "hive" if they see it. haven't tried it and seems silly, but it's worth a shot. what we do around the house is hang a 2 liter soda bottle with funnel shoved into the side of it. you put stuff like detergent and then something sweet like apple or pineapple juice in it. that would more or less keep them headed to somewhere else other than right at your stand. Ravin R10 man
maybe smoke of some type..try incense??or put a screen mesh on windows if it is a box blind..guess thermocell dont work for bees??
wtnhunt
Have usually mild allergic reactions to wasp and bee stings here. I have to spray some nests every year. Our box blind we always end up with wasp nests in it, sprayed in it about a month ago well before season opened and checked our other stands and they were good. May have a few come back, but if they go in the nests while the poison is still there they will eventually die. And NO the thermocell does not work for bees or wasps.
