HarvDog
Anyone out there still actively use CB radios? What's your "handle", good buddy?
MCH
Re: CBers Tomcat, here. Don't use it as much now as when I traveled. But I've got a Cobra with a 250 w linear.

slugshooter
Re: CBers After I quit my last trucking job I sold my Cobra cause I needed the money, whenever I get a newer truck I plan on getting another CB and installing it, you can't beat a CB when travelling. longislandhunter
Re: CBers I have 4 of em, but don't really use em anymore. Once in awhile I turn it on when traveling but hardly ever talk on it.
wtnhunt
Re: CBers Nope, not any more. Think I have one in a box somewhere though that used to be in my old dodge back in the 80's.

Strut10
Re: CBers Have a 2-knob Radio Shacker in my Jeep. Usually have it on, but don't talk much. Have a maxed out Cobra 29 LTD Classic shootin' through a Wilson 5000 stick in the wife's Gr. Cherokee. It's the vehicle that makes all the long roadtrips. I'll just say that when I key that Cobra up..........people will hear me.

Steven
Re: CBers Nightcrawler here. The name has 3 meanings. 1. I fish. 2. I drive mostly at night. 3. My nephew gave me the name because we share a Judas Priest song by that name as one of our favorite songs. I don't keep mine on too much on the run I have now. I don't need too much help navigating since I've been on the same run for nearly 6 months. When I go back over-the-road, it'll be on more though. Then I'll have to deal with people complaining about their pathetic lives and how much they hate their wives and dispatchers. It's really worse than the average AOL chat room.
