CaitlinMccart
Found out the hard way that sitting in a thorn tree is a terrible way to bow hunt. At least i will be sure to sit still otherwise i will get pricked!

WHISKEYSWAMP
we have a lot of stands in thorn trees around here only because they are the most available. I usually go out late summer with the machete or hand saw and cut them out of the way.
dbHunterNY
not your best of ideas, that's for sure lol...nope. lesson learned. heck the previous owner to my house planted one in the yard up toward the road. when mowing the lawn i avoid being around it at all costs. if i see any on my land they get cut down then and there. CaitlinMccart
Even though it hurts to sit in that tree, it is the best spot for me so i guess i just need to quit being weak haha
