lil hunter Posted March 11, 2005 Report Share Posted March 11, 2005 Foster slugs will not damage a rifled barrel. You can shoot 'em all you want, just clean out the lead build-up. While the smooth bore works best with the Foster type of slugs. I have been getting some fine groups while using the Lightfield Sabot slugs out of my rifled deer barrel.
