Ravin R10 man Posted April 11, 2013 Report Share Posted April 11, 2013 Stopped at my local JD dealer Thurs. a cargo semi is sitting in the yard with Iowa tags on it. I figures I's jump up on the running board and talk to the driver to find out what going on with planting in Iowa. Driver says NOT A THING, but he has this heavy North Carolina accent....I said to him you aint from around these parts. To which he said.."Nope Im from Nascar country"..I used to be in a pit crew as a gas can man in Nascar" I said who's team did you do that for? He said" three different drivers... Jimmy Spencer, Kyle Petty, and Darick Cope" he said his nickname was "Grumpy", he said it was an exciting time in his life, but now he drives transport for a living..
