How does rattling work in your area

I have good luck with rattling. It not only works, but is fun to do. I love getting bucks to investigate. I shot my second biggest buck a couple years ago rattling after I heard him making a scrap. He came in, but wasn't close enough and headed back to his scrap. I started rattling again and that's the end of the story :-)

Not had a lot of luck with rattling here. Have only had a few smaller bucks come in. Think the best was with real antlers clicking together like a sparring sequence, had 2.5 year old 6 come in. Better luck with grunting.

Same here. I usually don't rattle much unless it's really slow just to try and get things going. Majority of the time I get nothing. Bleating and grunting have been my best calling tactics.

It my favorite thing to do here I will wait for a cool cloudy or even light rain or foggy day and I will just set up in different areas on my property and rattle and stay there for an hour id so rattlin every now and then one day my first 4 setups had 9 different bucks come up first setup had a big 7 pt walk down the same trail I did 5 min after I got there.

I've rattled a few bucks in over the years here in Ohio. We always seem to have a balanced herd and that brings a strong rut with aggressive bucks. When I lived in PA in the 80's and 90's it didn't work that well, too high of a doe to buck ratio back then. I use the original Pack Rack and it works great.
