LETMGROW Posted December 21, 2013 Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 I'm just a few miles as the crow flies SE of Muff. So far so good here. It has rained on and off all day with the temperature bouncing all over the place. Right now it reads 32.3 F. In the city, which is 5 miles away, they have ice everywhere. Here we have none. That could change any time though. An alert just came across the scanner putting our county in a state of emergency starting at 6 PM. Hopefully we dodge a bullet. I talked with a friend of ours last night in Port Hope just outside Toronto and they were gettng freezing rain also. He was firing up his generator just in case. We have been fairly lucky here. Muff Posted December 22, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2013 well I still have power....very lucky......trees down all over the place. think we are lucky that rain turned into ice pellets in the night BUT we are back to rain right now and weather says it will rain into afternoon....plus we have some pretty good wind right now.
