JimT
Anyone use this release? I tried one tonight and might just have to get one. Very smooth with a nice trigger. Thoughts?

AaronS
Re: TruBall Copperhead I haven't tried that one. I have been shooting a Tru Ball Tornado for several years, and now have a Tru Ball Cyclone for backup. I love 'em.
Chrud
Re: TruBall Copperhead Carter Two Shot. Try one and you'll never look back. NO trigger travel at all. Nice and heavy. Can use it like a backtension release also.
JimT
Re: TruBall Copperhead The Two Shot does look nice for sure. Does the safety make any noise? I know some click. Do not want that.
Chrud
Re: TruBall Copperhead Not when closing it. There is a little when shooting it, but nothing real noticeable. With the Two Shot, there is NO trigger travel. The trigger is also set very heavy. So, that allows you to put your finger on the trigger without worrying about it going off. You can actually squeeze it or even shoot it like a backtension. Alone, the release tightened up my shooting quite a bit. I thought I was a great shot, but found out quick I had target panic. With this release, it is all but gone. This release is near impossible to punch too. You still get the control of a caliper, but you get the smooth, surprise release of a backtension. Chrud
Re: TruBall Copperhead I would definately try one first, but please make sure you have a checkbook. If the noise on the release bothers you, put a small piece of LimbSaver strip on it and you'll be fine. I don't have a problem with mine though. The trigger is a little odd getting use to, but ever other release I've tried felt like junk in the trigger department.

Chrud
Re: TruBall Copperhead [ QUOTE ] I never bring the checkbook. Wife always finds out how much things really cost then. [/ QUOTE ] LOL! Now THAT is some valuable information. By the way, mine has a black release head and black leather buckle strap. I camo looks too purplish to me. But, the Hardwoods Green HD velcro strap is pretty nice.
