carbonhunter
Depends what you get, the full lenght tubes take choke tubes and will patterns pretty darn I'm shure. Though i've never used the full lenght tubes, I did own a set of chamber mates so I could shoot a 28 gauge skeet league, I sold them off, they patterned fine inside 25 yards, and for clay targets.....Def. not good enough IMO to shoot at anything farther than maybe some quail over pointers/pen raised pheasents. too_pointer
Re: Gauge Reducers? Buck, I have asked this before also. The full length ones are pretty pricey. The shorter ones are o.k. you just need to test them out on different ammo. I bought a Beretta o/u 20 ga. not too long ago, and I will be buying a reducer to try to a .28 ga. I guess you spend the $50 and see how it does. As far as safety, they should be fine. too_pointer
