hangunnr
Got a couple boxes of the new 460 S&W today. Sure dosen't look like something you'd be stuffing into a revolver. From left to right... 300 Rem Ultra Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, 500S&W Mag, the 460 S&W and last a paultry little .45acp. Now if I can get my ducks in a row and get one of the guns I'll be all set to start destroying my wrists...... hangunnr
johnf
Re: Just for comparison.......... What kind of gun shoots that thing? Is that a deer cartrige for that caliber with a balistic tip?
hangunnr
Re: Just for comparison.......... Smith & Wesson introduced the 460 Mag. this year. I gotta think that this caliber would cover anything you're likely to encounter here in North America...... hangunnr
AJ
Re: Just for comparison.......... That thing should be sweet in the Encore. No cylinder gap, 15" barrel, and ya better have a stout scope.

hangunnr
Re: Just for comparison.......... This ammo is quite abit cheaper than the 500 was when it first came out. The stuff I got was from Midway Supply for $19.95 / 20 rounds. hangunnr
hangunnr
Re: Just for comparison.......... Muzzle velocity should be somewhere around 2150-2200 fps with the 200gr bullet. hangunnr
