I have had 12 deer in the yard all at once.. That was during the rut.. crazy buggers running around near my pool.. I commute 30 miles to work and I usually see at least one either dead on the road or in some field. I have deer in my field almost daily, but usually at night. I see deer every night when I'm working, sometimes alot of them, but then again I'm driving around looking for them. That's unusual to see them out so early. I saw what I'm pretty sure were 2 beavers in the Olentangy river this morning too. They were either beavers or muskrat on the juice. Some days more than 100 and a couple of days each year the count is close to 500. Some days I see quite a few elk also, with a couple of the herds over 100 head. Also see the occasional moose.
