bigbearguy
A few weeks ago I purchased a new Ruger Ultra Light in .257 Roberts. I was able to find a box of shells at the gun shop, but they aren't cheap and I'm sure I can get better accuracy out of handloads. So my question is, does anybody have any suggestions for handloads for the old Roberts? I will only be using it to hunt deer at distances less than 200 yards. Thanks. AJ
Re: .257 Roberts Load? The 100 gr bullet pushed by Varget, 4831, or 4350 would work just fine. As would the 117 or 120 gr bullet with 4831 or 4350. Any of these would be outstanding on deer.
