Do you pray for rain??

I do everytime I dont feel like working, in the golf course ind. you come to love that green red and purple on the radarn screen...it meens a paid day off(for me anyway) Last night i was debateing if i should go to the bar or not. CHecked the weather and saw all those lovely colors on the screen, went out and crashed at the ladies, set the alarm just incase, sure enough got the call at 6:45...NO WORK.

Over the years I've come to love the spring and summer rains, I'll play golf or go for a hike, you get wet but it beats a day at the office..thats for shure.

i pray for rain when i am really hott....and its like 98 degrees out

I pray for rain when it gets to hot. I love storms, the one time it was storming and I was sitting on the deck with my sister. I said a prayer out loud asking for the rain to pick up along with the wind, so it was just plain no visibility. One minute later, you know what happened. Coinisidence, or just the power of prayer?

I don't anymore, but when I was working through college I roofed houses.

We would get so hot on the roof we would look for any excuse to quit work early.

There were a lot of times we could see a tiny, white, puffy cloud 50 miles away and would get down because of the severe weather threat.

Nope, hate when it rains. I have my own part time lawn business and I got my week scheduled out at the beginning of the week. So when it rains it throws everything at the window. I gotta then either work double the next day or try to spread the jobs out over the rest of the week if possible. Not that I'm complaing about the rain cause it makes the grass grow faster which gets me more $$$. Now if it would only rain at night.....

Will be glad to see some dry days here. We needed some rain, but we got flooding. Seems the past few years it is one extreme to the next.

Yes sir! Oklahoma get pretty warm and normally dont get much rain in the Summer!

Only when my hay is not cut and laying on the ground or when the beans are ready to harvest. Of course in far western Colorado we average only 8" of rain per year when we aren't in a drought. Gotta count on those mountain reservoirs for our irrigation.

Not during planting season, that's for sure. Once the stuff is planted, I like an inch a week, which we've actually had over the last 2 summers. Although, the last 3 or 4 Mays and Junes have been too wet. I've lost quite a bit of crops over the last 3 years to too much water. Too much water hurts the turkey and pheasant hatches too.

I pray like a fiend for snow in December, January and February. Our school gets 5 "calamity days" and I like to use them all if possible. We got 2 days off this year for snow. Just like you Aaron--paid vacation.
