MCH Posted April 22, 2005 Report Share Posted April 22, 2005 Boys, I just got my bow back from the shop with a new Winner's Choice string! Sweet! The string is tan and green and looks awesome on my TRX. I also bought some of the new string cleaner and conditioner from Winner's Choice. I'll give it a try and let you guys know how good it works. I was without my bow for a total of one day... The pro shop prioritized my bow for me that way I could get some shooting in before Saturday...Needless to say, I gave a good tip... My first group was three inches low at twenty yards but dead center. I was very impressed with my grouping on a whole. I'm kinda worried about my peep twisting on me during the middle of the tournament but if it did it wouldn't be the end of the world. I just love being out there. Tony Posted April 23, 2005 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 Re: New Winner\'s Choice.. kevin your string shouldnt stretch much at all. it only takes about 40 to 50 shots to get thet WC string set.. once its set then the peep should rotate perfect for you.. however you might have to align your d loop to get it right or take the string off to put either a 1/2 twist in or out .. to get the peep right.. but once your peep is set you never have to worry about it ever.... im going to order some WC for my new camo Ultratec.. i think the flourescent green and blue will be nice... My yardage estimation was off most of the day. Out of 30 targets, I got as many 8's as I did X's...(8). Did get one five on an elk that I guessed to be 38 yards but was actually closer to 45.. My bow was on all day long though. Only one bad shot I thought was actually me or my form. Well, six in a row ain't bad. Now I've got to start a new streak...
