archerjg
Dad has an older 12 volt Dewalt that has fallen off of a barn roof, had diesel fuel run down through it.( Don't ask), and been dropped numerous other times and it still works like new. Steven
Re: DeWalt I used to be a true Dewalt supporter. But, they're not really as tough as they used to be. They seem more geared toward homeowners rather than professionals. Give me Milwaukee anyday.

Wisconsinboy
Re: DeWalt dewalt makes good stuff. a few years ago i was cutting down 90' pine trees with my uncle and dad and were where useing a Stihl 027 and the tree fell the wrong way and slamed down on the saw and pinched the saw and the saw was still running with this hugh tree on it, and we cut the saw out with a differnt one and it still runs like a top to the day. Tominator
Re: DeWalt yep, left my 14.4 drill out in the rain one night. i opened it up, blew it out with some compressed air, and it's like new. DeWalt makes a fine product.
Jeramie
Re: DeWalt I agree, I really like DeWalt products. Its such a competitive world out there. In a line of products such as drills, screw guns, skill saws, and nail guns you really get what you pay for.
bigbearguy
Re: DeWalt Dewalt does make some fine products. Has anyone ever seen the jobsite radio? I have heard that a company rep. will throw the radio as hard and far as he can across a concrete floor and the thing won't miss a beat. The lights they make a also good for tracking deer after the sun goes down.
