tedicast
Re: Anybody got a yellow jacket bow target? My bro and I have been shooting bh's into a yellow jacket. Great target. After untold number of broadheads it is no worse for the wear. holds up much better than the Block. The yellow jacket target is made specifically for broadheads. It is not meant to shoot field points into. That is wht you are having so much trouble removing them.
VermontHunter
Re: Anybody got a yellow jacket bow target? Tedicast is correct Morrel makes two types of Yellow Jacket Targets, The Yellow Jacket/BH ( which is for BroadHeads) and The Yellow Jacket/FP Target ( which is for Field Points) which runs about $44.99 in price... If you are shooting Field Points into the BH target it will be a bear removing the arrow, as you are experiencing... Here is the link to Morrels so you can look at the different types of targets the offer....... http://www.morrelltargets.com/yellow_jacket_fp.asp?Product=45&SubCategory=

[/ QUOTE ] If u look in cabellas it never says anything about broadhead only.Thats why i got it [/ QUOTE ] You are right fgp... I just looked in the 2004 archery cat from cabelas, and it says it is for either. I know, either on the target itself, or the box it came in, it says to only shoot bh's into it. For the $40 price tag, it holds up to bh's better than any 3D, or layered foam target out there, and they all cost much more than the Yellow Jacket. tedicast
Re: Anybody got a yellow jacket bow target? definately a typo. Of course if you look on the pull out in the catalog they cover themselves with: "Typographic,photographic,and/or descriptive errors are subject to correction. We apologize for any inconvenience." That pretty much means to know what you are buying before you order it. A little research goes a long way. At least you still ended up with arguably the best broadhead target on the market. You can never shoot enough broadheads before the season starts!!!

" Morrell Yellow Jacket Foam Broadhead Target " It doesn't get much clearer than that.
