coles Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 my mom is a teachers aid in the elementary and they got a call from the sheriffs office today saying that there was a grizzly within a mile of the school. so all the recesses were cancelled. but i guess there were helicopters flying around last night and i never heard them. we live right across the street from the school too. the teton river runs about half a mile behind the school so its isnt that uncommon to have bears in town. we had a cop chase a grizzly right through our front yard a couple years ago. just added a little excitement to my day. i just want to catch a big ol black bear in my back yard and stick em with my bow.
