Man, I hated to see Alfonso get beat...especially after he had already eliminated Peter and they voted to bring him back. I guess I'm pulling for either Sergio or Jesse to beat Peter in the finals. I just don't want to see Peter win it since he already has a loss in the competition. You mean to tell me there was no other middle weights out there that never got a chance to be on the show that didn't want to come in and be a part of it. If Peter wins the show will get ugly marks for that. Its a success so I can see a 2nd season but don't bring these guys back, you lose your gone. Heard Stallone say on the Jim Rome radio show that once they lose the show is still helping them in their boxing careers and helping them become better fighters and advance in their careers. Cannot see either of the guys left taking the punches that Brinkley throws over a duration if he can stay focused and fight like he did in his first fight. This coming weeks fight will determine the winner in my opinion. Dont think Manfredo can handle Sergio or Brinkley, but still will be interesting to watch anyways. I have heard that a few guys really dissagreed with the decision to bring back defeated fighters. But I don't dissagree with it at all. I think it was great to bring back Peter. He's a good guy(one of the better in house) and deserves a second shot like all boxers eventually look for. They are trying to have a "reality" TV show, well second chances and comebacks are part of that. I won't say he is my favorite, but he deserves to be there IMHO. Go Brinkley! He hits like a freight train, has heart and pretty much a funny guy. Like I said before, when there was the 4 remaining contestants, I will be happy with whoever wins. I wanted Peter to win the 1st fight with Alfonso but Alfonso showed him he was better. They did get to vote in a fighter that got kicked off but the losers should not get 2nd chances as only a select few got a chance to be called back. What should have happened was a list of possible guys who almost make the cut to be on the show, the guys should have picked someone that didn't get a first chance and someone they hadn't seen fight before. O well its over done deal. I hope Peter wins it all. Jesse can hit but he almost lost that last round. All the other guy had to do was mover around for 30 seconds and he had him beat because he won the other rounds. Jesse waits to long and he might not get the ability to land a jab on the next guy. No doubt Sergio is a good boxer with a lot of skill, but dont think he will be able to make Brinkley miss enough not to get hurt. Got to remember Brinkley had to lose like 7 or 8 pounds right before the fight to be able to fight against Bonsante who next to Brinkley was the hardest hitting boxer there.
