Re: Picking the right arrow?

Thankfully you dont have to buy and shot several differnet arrows to find one. Manufactures make sizing charts to aid you in the proper size and spine you need for you bow.

Carbon arrows have a much wider application then do aluminiums which are more spine specific.

You can further tune your arrow with different wieght tips and even nock end weight sustems too if you choose but most do not do this.

Hope this helps...

Re: Picking the right arrow?

with a bow MOST i say MOST of the time any arrow will work, a lot of the time it just all depends on the length of the arrow. thats were you get all your differecnes in your shot...my buddy got some more of the same arrows he had been shooting and he couldnt figure out why the new ones were shooting so terrible, then he compared them with his old ones and noticed that they were cut a quarter inch too long..so a lot of it is proper length for your bow's set up.

Re: Picking the right arrow?

there are mnay websites that will allow you to build your own arrow to the specs of your bows draw weight..

i like the one on Goldtip but you definately want to be slight ly over spined for safety reasons..

serious archers and bowhunters know that perfectly spined and matched in weight arrows are one of the essentials to making a good shot on a big game animal..
