GPS?

I'm thinking about getting a GPS for hunting, but don't want to spend a lot. I'm not really wanting a lot of bells and whistles, but I am willing to pay more for quality equiptment. I found these at Bass Pro.com

Has anyone had any experience with any of them or could suggest any of them?

I just need something that can get me in and out of the woods and be reliable.

Re: GPS?

Garmin E-trex has never let me down yet. I use it continuously. My wife paid something like $85.00 for it at Target and gave it to me as a gift. At first I was skeptical since she didn't know what she was really looking for, but boy it has saved my but a few times and it is great for navigating to a new stand in the dark for your first time. Did I mention that I love my Etrex?

Re: GPS?

I have this unit and love it! Cant believe this unit works so good! Three times now in less than a year it saved my butt! Just when I thought I was going in the right direction, WRONG! GPS said to go this way so I followed the way the unit told me too. Got right back to the truck!

Etrex Vista!

Buy what you can afford too! If you can get one that will hold the topo maps you will not be sorry! I got mine at Walmart.com, it was only $218 instead of $270!
