VTbowman Posted June 24, 2005 Report Share Posted June 24, 2005 Gool ole Luke, (I mean mean Old.) LOL The guy rescues me from a computer nightmare. Well basically anyways. The 5 year old Compaq was giving out. Hardrive kept locking up, memeory was near spent, basically was not able to surf anymore without pushing the on/off button several times to get threw a couple sites online... Luke drove over with doctors bag in hand to fix her up. Tried to save all my pics, documents, etc., to CD but was not getting it done. He installed a slave drive and moved all the data over before trying to do a complete clean install of Windows ME. The problem was the hard dirve was trashed and the restore disks were too. He took it home and within a couple hours I had me back a new hard drive, slave drive, all date saved to a back up disk, Windows XP, and a running machine again. HEY,,,I get as much as I give, believe me....Good Ol' Chris hooked my wife Tammy up with some of his popcorn, Jason sent me a bunch of Archery stuff, and well Shawn and I have this brother like relationship happening,,,,so yeah I would say I get as much if not more than I give...... Not to mention all of the great advice I get from other great folks here on the forums,,,,,just like one big family,,,,we may bicker back and forth amoung ourselves but don't let some stranger tread too heavily,,,or the hammer comes down big time.... Yes the install is legit with an authentic Activation Code and all....He won't have any update issues as long as he stay away from the SP2 update,,that thing is buggier than the woods in the fall... You Party Pooper.....
