IL non-resident bow permits

Anyone not going to apply for Illinois nonresident bow permits that have in the past. Just wondering if new price was scaring people away. A few of my buddies aren't applying becuase of price and changes made for 2005.

No, I thought they were expensive enough last year, not to mention the 4hrs I spent on the phone trying to get through....

I am an Illinois resident that refuses to hunt in Illinois. The liberals in this state will not stop creating anti-hunting laws and policies. The way they get people to stop hunting is to keep the prices too high.

I hunt in NW Indiana, as many of you know. I refuse to give this state one dollar more than I must.

I don't mind the price i just think Illinois is going about the permits wrong. I do think that people should have to apply either on-line or phone, but i think if you apply you should recieve a permit. The amount of non resident hunters and the deer they kill is not going to affect the total deer population. Most non residents hunt Illinois for the big buck anyway. I personally don't like the idea that the first 7500 permits go to the outfitters or people hunting on outfitters. They should have to draw a permit and then set up a hunt with an outfitter. Thats just my opinion though.
