Love the early fall; work slows down, we get to chase bears and grouse, the weather cools down. I'm getting all misty eyed just thinking about it! Seeing as how I am not very handy with a shotgun, I will just say I will be looking forward to MISSING some more grouse this year. LOL. We had a very cold wet spring, which means a poor hatch this year. Should still be able to go out and get 2 or 3 for dinner in an hour or two walking, but not going to be a banner year. Fly, hope the birds coperate for ya this year,,,,there's nothing like a few grouse on the dinner table, it just can't be topped as far as bird meat goes.......may you bag a bunch this season.... If I can get them a 40yds. I should'nt have any problem with the deer... Last season I took a total of 8 birds using the Bow and a total of 2 deer, so I would say it payed of and had fun as well.....
