Swamphunter Posted July 22, 2005 Report Share Posted July 22, 2005 I just retrieved my Stealth Cam from the woods and I got a nice buck on the first roll. It looks like it will be at least an 8 point by hunting season, maybe 10 (I'm hoping ). Depends on how much more growing he does. He looks healthy though and pretty wide so far! It only took 10 pics on the roll though and the batteries went dead. I know why though. I didn't have enough fresh batteries and I mixed some older ones with them. I put all fresh batteries in the camera today and set it back up on another trail. I will try and get the photo of the buck scanned tonight and post it in this thread. Thanks guys for the help! Around here the bucks pretty much already have their points and are just growing length. I agree he's probably a 2 year old now but he going to have a nice wide rack. Looking at it again (after the first pic of of a buck off my first roll o' film) excitement wore off, I agree probably a nice 6 by the season. He does actually have 2 brow tines that don't show in this picture. You can see the bases of them just above each eye. It doesn't show well in this pic because since I do not have access to a scanner, I snapped a picture of the pic with my digital camera and posted it that way. He is already a 4 pointer.
