GWSmith
I wonder what you are leaving for the next generation? Personally i hope to inherit the broken wood shaft of an arrow from my Father. It was his only bow kill and nothing in this world is of more value to me(in the hunting arena that is). How about you???

Chrud
Re: Legacy We have a couple old lever guns from my Grandpa, an old .30-30 with an octagon barrel and a .348. Not really anything bowhunting though.
Griz
Re: Legacy This has nothing to do with bow hunting in a since, but my grandfather left me 2 wooden fly fishing poles and an old pump 22 that he had way back when he was young. Me, when I'm gone I am going to leave a photo album with everything I have done in the outdoors. It will show everyone that looks at it what I truely loved... GWSmith
Re: Legacy Hevi, Whats really cool to me about your gift is that it came from your father! Thats why i want that broken arrow shaft from my Dad...I actually watched the guy up the street make it. I watched him add the cresting while it was on a lathe and everything! LOL...The arrow has a broadhead that looks like a shovel My Dad took one picture of the deer with an old polaroid camera. Wish I could show you it but HUNT101 trashed the only copy of it I had

NY911Bowhunter
Re: Legacy My grandfather has this picture of him, his brother (now deceased, we named our son after him) and ther old farm hands with the first "legal" buck ever shot on his farm, which was sold last year. I always wanted it. He gave it to me last week!
Tominator
Re: Legacy Hmnmmmm, I guess time will only tell Gary. So far, none of my kids have shown an interest in hunting of any sort. My dad never bowhunted, so there's no inheriting there. I have tons of stuff here for my kids should they ever want to start up with the sport, and I guess my legacy will be written when the Lord calls me up.
