coles
my neighbor has a 1969 firebird but it has been in washington for a year but his parents brought it down yesterday. let me tell you that thing is fast. he took my brother, his friend and me for a ride last night and we were just cruising about 40 and he down shifted and stepped on it and it slammed us back. it was soo cool. the we turned around and laid rubber for about 50 ft and got it up to 140 in no time at all. then today at church my 10 yr old brother asked him if he would take him for a ride again. so we went out and up by the golf course and turned heads eveywhere. we did the quarter mile and at the end we hit 120mph. i dont know how fast we did it. and then the best part. HE LET ME DRIVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was soooo fun. it has a ratchet shifter so i went through all the gears and i looked down and was goin 100. then he told me to slow down to about 50 and down shift but as soon as i pulled it down to floor it. i did it and wow. that was the coolest thing ever. it is blue with white stripes up the hood. it has a fuel injected 428 with headers and such. one word AWESOME! does anyone else have muscle cars. if so lets hear about em. [/ QUOTE ] You took your 10 year old brother in a car doing 120 mph?? Your mother is going to kill you! I lost two friends in high school who were driving just like you were. It might seem like a lot of fun at the time, but the consequences aren't worth the risk.

Shaun_300
Re: 525 hp!!!!!! My '03 Cavalier has 145hp. Mind you that does not sound like a lot, but it being a 2-door with a 5-speed tranny in it, she run's like a cat with a firecracker up its rear. I can take those lil Honda rice rockets, so that's all that matters I was really surprised how much snot that lil car has for a little 2.2L in it After I put the cold air intake on it, it'll be up around 170hp
