I thought it was kind of funny, because it looked like he couldn't figure out what he wanted to do. [/ QUOTE ] Yup, I thought that was freakin hillarious! I was like, what is that moron doing? -----> <-------- IMO, not a bad race, but not too good of a race. I was happy to see Gordon got a decent finish, and I felt bad that Jr. got two laps down. I think that Jr. and Gordon are like 4 points apart in the standings (but im not sure) and theyve both got alot of work to do if they want to get in the chase. BTW, Stewarts up to second fellas, look for him to take the points lead in Indy. Hes on a roll.
tedicast
Re: Pocono 500 I think Kurt had his traction control on, and forgot to turn it off for the burnout,,,,LOL
fisherguy
Re: Pocono 500 not a bad race...i laughed at his sad attempt at donuts lol. A shame to see mikey have another good run end in a wreck, and Jr. get so far down at the start. With those new springs he seemed to be moving really well. Guest bexar_county89
Re: Pocono 500 yea, i saw busch's donuts and felt kinda sorry for him lmao, anyway like fisherguy said, man i couldn't believe they held jr back 2 laps for speedin off of pit road and waltrip wreck when he really had a good car... ah well congrats to Kurt
bigbearguy
Re: Pocono 500 Where are all the Jr. fans this week?? Congrats to Jr on a fine 32nd place run!! I see how everyone is, Jr it totally junk all day and everyone has to pick on the man who won the race because of his post race celebration. If you know it alls would watch the replay you will see what Kurt was trying to do on the frontstretch, pretty ingenious if you ask me. It takes a little more talent than driving into the wall and mashing the accelerator.
spyderpancake
Re: Pocono 500 Even though Jr. didn't finish well, at least he ran near the front of the field once they got it straightened out. Roush Racing is getting pretty good at wiping people out, for like the last 3 or 4 weeks they have flat run over someone and then played dumb afterwards"Oops, I accidently ran over "---", i feel so terrible" I know a lot of it isn't accidental, but if it were DEI, RCR,or Hendricks, they would be getting a lot of heat, but its ok since Roush drivers are so "clean". Let the wars begin, Roush fans. (Hey, somebody's gotta start something, it is getting boring in here!)

Yeah, i kinda agree, but, he did have a flat, so, it was a "racing" incident. I guess It is kinda getting boring in here.

After the change of springs & speeding on pit road, which put him down 2 laps, he was one of the fastest cars on the track. He passed the 2nd & 3rd place cars with no problem. No, he wasn't as fast as the 97, they were in a completely different zone. Just for the rest of us know it alls, why don't you fill us in on exactly what the 97 was trying to do in his celebration, because I sure couldn't figure it out, & I don't think he knew either. I think the traction control comment may have some merit. No comments about the 24 spinning out another car this week? The commentators sure overlooked it. VABuckSlayer
Re: Pocono 500 Carl Edwards killed me this week. My boy Kahne was going to get a top 5 but Edwards didn't like getting passed so he took him out! He said he felt bad but doesn't do anything for Kasey or me in the points! I like Carl but that was bad! At least my boy Rusty had a great finish. He held off Mark with 2 tires. He's only 170 some points from first now. Hope he keeps it up! MichiganHuntr1
Re: Pocono 500 You know, I honestly didnt get to see a good view of the 24 spinning out that car. All i saw was the front view. Anyway folks, lets not jump to conclusions , for all we know, the car in front of the 24 couldve let off the throttle, or hit the brakes. [/ QUOTE ] Man get off the #24 kick,,,,,he spun out another car this week when was the last one I must have missed that incident......and the replay I saw, the #24 didn't have a choice the lead car was going loose.... Man why is when a car spins out, with a Hendrick car behind then automatically the Hedrick car caused it,,but if it's a Rousch or DEI car they never touched them or had no choice.... NY_Bowhunter14
Re: Pocono 500 If you guys recorded the race go to the burnouts cause I knew exactly what he was doing... IowaDeerHunter
Re: Pocono 500 Ah, I see. Very cool but yet, it still looked like he didn't know what he was foing. Not a bad idea though. It sure would be hard to do.
spyderpancake
Re: Pocono 500 [ QUOTE ] Youre talking about Biffle? [/ QUOTE ] Actually, i was referring to Edwards in this instance, but any of them will work! I was wondering how long it would take somebody to burnout their number. Everybody is trying to think of something cool to do when they win. I think Jr would have the easiest number to do, besides maybe Mike Bliss, but what are the chances of him getting to do a victory "0"? I don't know, without those nasty Hendricks drivers he might have a chance!(I told you i was bored )
