Swamphunter Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 Hey guys, I could use a few prayers for my Dad today, not too mention a couple other things going on right now that I don't want to get into in open forum. My mother called early this AM just after 1AM and said my father was having chest pains and couldn't breathe and they wanted me to take them to the hospital. She didn't think it was his heart though by the way he described the pain. After spending all night in the hospital, the determined that his lung collapsed for no apparant reason and that is there concern. His other lung is now starting to cause him pain also and not being sure what caused the first one to collapse, they are more concerned about the second. The doctors think they have located a small puncture wound in his lung, but have absolutely no idea what would have caused it. It is a matter of he has to remain semi seated upright while sleeping and can't move around a lot until the wound heals so hopefully the lung won't deflate more.
