Guest lilcrackshot
I am getting a beagle pup after hearing all you guys reccomendations on a previous post and my friend told me you don't have to train them and they will just naturally go after rabbits. Is this true? If not what is the best method to train a beagle.
Tominator
Re: Beagles In my experience, it's pretty much true that a beagle either has it, or they don't. If you can, run the pup with some more experienced beagles. Hopefully you get a good dog. Rabbit hunting with a beagle is a ton of fun. MUDRUNNER
Re: Beagles Beagles are awesome dogs. They are friendly, full of energy, and smart. For the most part they know what to do when they come across a bunny. They do get a little stuborn out in the field sometimes,so I use a shock collar I bought from Cabelas. After a few times of getting a little knick he learns to listen a little better.
