My suggestion would be to do the maritimes(New Brunswick, Noca Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland) in one. Then next head a bit west and hit Quebec(personally i would bypass that one lol) and Ontario(keep in mind it is a huge province and if you wanted to see teh south and the Northwest in one trip that is well over 20 hours driving, probably 24). The prairies could be done together(Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta), then do BC, and work your way up teh rockies into the Yukon and Northwest territories. It would all depend on what you wanted to see, and how much time you had to see it. Best way IMO would be to pick the species you wanted to hunt then try and spread the hunts over the country. For example if caribou was on the list you could hunt different subspecies in 6 different provinces, so try to make up a wish list first and go from there is my suggestion.

Since the provinces are so big, we usually just say the name of the province when we decribe a location in Canada. But there are names for certain regions like fisherguy said. We usually go by the Maritimes, Ontario and Quebec, the Prairies, and the West. Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories are classified as "the North". that's the way I'd break up this country.
